I would love to support you

I've been called the 'midwife of song' by countless clients who've come to reignite their unexplored creative dreams, and it would be my absolute honor to do the same for you.

I hold a deeply safe space where mistakes are celebrated and edges are stretched to help you BLOOM into your song.

Bloom is the perfect container for those either totally new at making music or for those who have been strumming and writing for years

Seedling: Beginner Group

San Anselmo, Tuesdays from 7-9PM

You’re at the very beginning of your musical journey. Maybe you have very little experience with singing, songwriting, or playing an instrument but you’re curious, open, and ready to learn. You might not know much yet, but the spark is there, and that’s what counts!

  • April 19 and June 28 - Mixed Bloom Daylong Retreat from 11-5 in the Bay Area

  • Are you brand new to singing, songwriting, or playing an instrument? Welcome! This space is for you to gently grow your confidence, creativity, and connection to music from the ground up. No experience necessary- just curiosity and a willingness to explore.

    • Learn the basics of baritone ukulele in a playful, stress-free way

    • ​Build confidence in your singing voice through supportive group singing

    • Begin writing your own songs (yes, you can!)

    • Play with rhythm, melody, and lyrics in ways that feel fun and intuitive

    • Cultivate a personal connection to music through ritual and reflection

    • Grow alongside a small community of fellow beginners

    • And always: Magick, Ritual + Play!

  • I believe in equitable sliding scale tuition. I offer this group sliding scale between $1500-$2500 with additional scholarships as needed.

    Work trade: $1500- $2000

    General tuition: $2000

    Mentorship: $2500 (comes with 3 one-on-one sessions

    I have a limited number of scholarship spots available if you're needing more financial support.

Sproutling: Intermediate Group

Sebastopol, Thursdays from 7-9PM

You’ve been playing and singing for a while now! You might still have a few gaps in your musical toolkit, but you feel confident enough to whip up a song in 15 minutes. Maybe you’re curious about song facilitation and learning to lead!

If you consider yourself a Seedling but want to join the Sebastopol group, reach out to Lauren to make sure it is a fit!

  • Have you been playing for a while and are looking to dive deeper into songwriting, recording, collaboration, improvisation and theory? Join me and your fellow singers and lets get sprouting!

    • Diving into theory & rhythm. 

    • Taking your songwriting to the next level and breaking free from old patterns

    • Exploring songtending (facilitation) if that sounds exciting to you

    • Exploring collaboration in an environment that encourages your creativity.

    • Recording audio, video, and sharing your work online.

    • Exploring more challenging group songs + exquisite harmony

    • Flowing into improvisation/ channeling

    • As always, Magick, Ritual + Play!

  • My ukulele has become a portal: to playing the folk songs of my childhood, to singing the feelings I can’t otherwise express, to connecting with spirit. I never would have picked up the instrument if it wasn’t for the safe, loving, joyous container that is Bloom Into Song. Lauren took us on a journey, supporting us as we learned to quiet the voices of self-criticism and stage fright that we carried with us our whole lives.
